Taranaki Tū Mai Update

T-Shirts
T-Shirts are available to picked up at the following times and places:
Thursday 12.00 – 5:30pm
Te Atiawa Office, PKW House, 35 Leach Street, New Plymouth.
Friday 8:00 – 11:00am
Te Atiawa Office
Saturday from 7:30am
Te Atiawa Marquee, Inglewood High School Rugby Field.

Transportation to Pōwhiri – Friday
Buses are Leaving TET Stadium (Inglewood), please meet at 9:00am. We are urging all Te Atiawa uri to be on these earlier buses. You will be dropped off at the Tarata Hall for a cuppa while we wait for everyone to arrive.

Early buses will leave will return to TET Stadium for those playing sports.

Sports – Friday
Golf (Anaru White) meet at Inglewood GC at 3:00pm for a 4:00pm tee off.
Cross Country (Te Poihi Campbell) and Basketball (Aaron Bailey-Nowell) meet at Inglewood HS at 5pm for a 5:30pm start.

Te Atiawa HQ
Our marquee will be located by the playing fields. Come and meet the team, collect kai and shirts, view updated results and draws. The team will be there all day and look forward to seeing you.

March Pass – Saturday 8:00am Inglewood High
We invite you to join us all for the March Pass. Meet at our Marquee located on the playing fields at Inglewood High School.

Sports – Saturday
All sports commence at respective areas, meet 9:15am for a 10:00am start.  

Kaumatua/Taiohi/Tamariki Tū Mai – Saturday
Check-in 9:30am.

Kai – Saturday
A snack pack will be available for all registered Te Atiawa Tū Mai uri from our marquee between 11:30am – 1:00pm.

Gumboot throw and Tug-o-war – Sunday
Due to large numbers the Gumboot Throw and Tug-o-war has been moved to 2:30pm, Sunday.

Kapa Haka – Sunday
We stand at 10:25am!

Hāngi – Sunday
A hāngi will be available for all registered Te Atiawa Tū Mai uri from our marquee from 11:15am.

He Pānui

Parakore (Zero Waste)
Parakore will be present at Tū Mai and recycling hubs will be located around the venue.

Water Bottle
To reduce waste, we are asking whānau to bring their own water bottles. There will be water stations to fill bottles at the venue.

Sun Smart
Slip, slop, slap and wrap!

Māori Wardens
We are grateful to have the Māori Wardens supporting this event. Please be respectful and adhere to their instructions.

Parking – Inglewood High School
The only entry to the school is via Rata Street.
