Pua Te Ata – Developing an Iwi Eco-System of Content Creators.

Earlier this year we put a call out to uri who are interested in learning about iwi communications and engagement. Whether you love to write or your an expert selfie video maker, this kaupapa – Pua te Ata – might be for you. If you whakapapa to Te Atiawa Iwi contact to find out more or register online.

The kaupapa was initially planned to take place over a series of traditional wānanga in a marae setting. Due to COVID-19, we’ve made the move to deliver this kaupapa through a series of webinars. The main aim is to provide participants with an insight into iwi communications and engagement, and why it’s important to understand the big picture stuff.

The dates of our first series of wānanga have been confirmed There will be a total of seven webinars over a six week period. Each webinar will be approximately 45-60 minutes. The first one will take place on Wednesday 16th September 2020, 7.30pm hosted by HONO PR (our facilitators and hosts). You will receive a link the week prior.

During the first webinar you’ll find out all of the details for the entire series. Our first series of webinars will focus on the priority communication objectives and strategies of each iwi involved. This will give the participants an insight into how the iwi currently communicate and engage and how you can be involved in the communications space within our Iwi.

Each of the CEO, from their respective Iwi will share their Vision, Values, Purpose and Strategic Objectives. It’s a great opportunity to understand each Iwi structure and more importantly how you fit in the Iwi communications sector.
