Toa, Daughter of Gary and Suzanne and mokopuna of Proud Nanny Aunty Gemma, was selected by British Rowing. The women’s quad took the lead in the final 500m and held on to take gold and the World Champion title. Lace was approached by Junior White Soxs to travel to Irvine California for the World Series August 2019. Her commitment to the sport has paid off.
Lace also represented U17 Hutt Valley and trialed for the U17 NZ champs.
