2022 Annual General Meeting in summary

On 3 December 2022 we hosted our Annual General Meeting at the Waitara War Memorial Hall. Our AGM covered the Financial year of 1 July 2021 – 30 June 2022.

We were thrilled with the turnout of all our whānau who joined us on the day. Some of our highlights included Rangimokai Knuckey who joined us as our 2022 Annual Postgraduate Scholarship recipient. We launched our new Hononga Grants which are now live on our website. We also were joined by Gary Nicholas who gave a kōrero on behalf of Waitara Arts Collective.  Local artist and Te Atiawa uri Vallance Wrathall also displayed his art at our event. 

The AGM followed by a wonderful Christmas lunch catered by Sarah’s Kauta and the dining area decorated by Te Karanga Nurseries.

A big thank you to everyone who supported and it was impressive to see so many of our own whānau involved in all the different aspects of running this event.
